Pfändergold
Pfändergold
Pfändergold received a Golden Pear in 2013 – excuse me? It’s a coveted award – one that Claudia Kepp and her husband won for their home-made fruit and veg specialities that they sell in jam jars. The creations obviously do not only delight customers. The choice now ranges from pestos, chutneys and spicy pickles to syrup and fruit spreads. The little jars make it possible to literally taste the Kepp family’s passion for collecting the finest herbs and the pleasure it derives from coming up with ever-new creations.

Naturprodukte Flatz
Naturprodukte Flatz
Naturprodukte Flatz makes it easy to shop with a clear conscience because it presents an enticing selection of products that are created exclusively from within the healthy cycle of nature. Production partly takes place at partners, partly at Flatz itself. Besides the shop, the Flatz family also runs the Jennyhof with suckler cow farm, turkey farm and the farm’s own butcher’s shop.

Hofladen, Schobel Höchstgenuss
Schobel Höchstgenuss
A further specialist in the art of fine distillation. Above all, however, Schobl Höchstgenuss has made a name for itself with its exceptional range of dried fruit and the increasingly rare “black nuts” – where else can you get your hands on dried strawberries or the walnuts lavishly preserved according to an old tradition? Everything is lovingly done by hand. Tasting in the distillery is also a stimulating event.

It’s possible to enjoy with all the senses the facets that an entire region has to offer at the authentic farm shop in Lauterach. The spiritual roots of the region and tradition resonate within the aromas that the fine products, the top-notch distillates and the home-made ‘Lauterach Dry Gin’ have to offer. Visitors will search in vain for international mass production at Dietrich Kostbarkeiten (which means ‘valuables’ in English). They will instead encounter true treasures of small-scale agriculture and enjoy the exquisite pleasures that are on offer.

Lustenauer Senf
Lustenauer Senf
There are quite a few people who have this mustard sent to them in their native countries as soon as they have tasted it just the once! The range offered by the family-run company, which is already over a century old, is continually expanding, with the products bearing names such as Black Gold, Mustard with Grappa and Raisins. Yet the classic mustard is – and remains – the best of all mustards! See the online shop.

On the other, Fränzle’s is an insider tip for all who like to cook regional fish specialities themselves. Fresh and partly filleted fish from Lake Constance is on offer here on a daily basis.
