The tour starts directly at Rankweil train station and first leads for about two kilometers through the town before the first climb soon awaits. After around 20 kilometers, the first highlight in the Laternsertal is reached at just over 1,300 meters above sea level. From there, the route continues with rolling sections and some gentle descents, before it climbs steeply again towards the panorama of Mount “Männle” at 1,500 meters. A rapid descent on well-maintained paths follows. Steep ramps and partly challenging terrain then lead uphill once more. Depending on skill and technique, it may not be possible to avoid pushing the gravel bike at times. The tour once again reaches more than 1,300 meters above sea level before returning via Fraxern to the starting point in Rankweil.
