Route description

The route begins at Bärenkreuzung in Feldkirch, near AK Vorarlberg. The Weinbergtreppe starts to the right of Easy Drivers Breuß and climbs towards Wildpark Feldkirch in several sections.

Long flights of steps alternate with short stretches of road. The route gains height quickly over a short distance, leaving the town centre behind. Although it is not long, the many steps require a reasonable level of fitness and sure-footedness.

The appeal of the route lies less in its length than in the direct transition from town to nature. The path winds its way up the hillside, providing an active route to Ardetzenberg.

Once at the top, Wildpark Feldkirch is an inviting place to spend some time. Native animal species, woodland paths, a large playground, toilets and the kiosk make it a particularly attractive destination for families. Visitors can watch the animals, take a break surrounded by greenery and then return to the town along the same route.
