From the town of Bludenz, the region of the Alps extends over three valleys and includes the biosphere park of the Großes Walsertal. Klostertal, Walgau, Brandnertal – they are all home to mountains, glaciers, forests, mountain lakes and rivers. Lünersee at the foot of the Schesaplana, at an altitude of 1,970 m, lies like a transparent, blue gem in the beautiful countryside. At 2,965 m, the Schesaplana is the highest mountain in the Rätikon, with the history of the Rhaetians reflected in the nomenclature of many places. Hundreds of kilometres of hiking paths, ski lifts, a golf course, summer meadows and farms present themselves at their best.
