Andrea and Thomas Steurer are not only dedicated farmers, they also run their Jausenstation Steurerhof (Snack Station) with a passion. They’ve been producing dairy products from their own hay milk since 1988 and, since 2001, the family has been serving home-made specialities – including such classics as Kässpätzle – at the Jausenstation on the weekends. Guests are able to relax after a hike in the cosy lounge while the terrace is the place to wind down in the summer.
