We start our mountain tour in Lechleiten at around 1,500 m and follow the hiking trail uphill over green fields and blooming meadows. Soon, the path becomes narrower and winds in serpentine curves through dense larch trees towards the summit. Above the tree line, a wide hollow opens up with a breathtaking panoramic view – a true postcard motif.
The trail continues through impressive rocky terrain, which is partially secured with steel cables. Short climbing sections require sure-footedness, concentration, and a head for heights, but are rewarded with unique views. Upon reaching the ridge, the distinctive summit cross comes into sight and is reached within a few minutes. At the top, we enjoy the wide view and the incomparable feeling of summit happiness before descending back to Lechleiten along the same path.
