We start in Schröcken-Heimboden. First, we follow the path to the Fellealpe and continue hiking up a narrow trail. After about 1.5 hours, we reach the fork in the path and head towards Fürggele.
From the rock entrance, we stow away our hiking sticks – now both hands are needed. Over secured passages and loose rocks, we reach the summit cross of the Braunarlspitze. The view over the Bregenzerwald is breathtaking.
The descent takes us to the turquoise Butzensee, framed by the Mohnenfluh summit. We return via the Jägersteig to the Fellealpe and continue back to the starting point.
