The Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card counts as ticket to the region’s most beautiful destinations, for travel on trains and buses and offers discounts from our bonus partners. Purchasing the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card pays off from visiting just two destinations. For example: Karren Dornbirn and the vorarlberg museum in Bregenz cost € 26,40 (by date of January 2024) together – you can visit these two destinations with the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card from as little as € 21,00 and travel very comfortably from one destination to another on public transport.

  • Can I visit a destination twice?

You can visit your favourite places several times but you can only visit the same destination once on the same day.

  • From when and for how long is the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card valid?

The Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card is valid for one calendar day (not 24 hours) from 0.00 a.m. until 0:00 a.m. the next day. Tickets are available for one, two or three days. The Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card is always valid on consecutive calendar days.

  • Where can I buy the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card?

You can book the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card directly through the webshop and use it immediately as a digital ticket on your mobile phone or as a print@home ticket. Locally you can buy it from selected partner hotels and tourist offices in the region. You will find a list of all sales outlets here.

  • Can I use the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card immediately when I book it through the webshop?

Yes, you can use the digital ticket and the print@home ticket straight away.

Please remember that print@home and mobile-phone tickets are bound to the purchaser and that they cannot be exchanged or returned.

  • How does the mobile-phone ticket work?

You need a smartphone to use the digital card. Simply save as a screenshot or in your digital wallet and show it at the excursion destinations.

  • How does the print@home ticket work?

You’ll be emailed the print@home ticket as a PDF file that you can then print out and present at the destinations.

  • Does the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card have to be validated?

No, the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card does not need to be validated because it is dated.

  • Can the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card also be purchased for a future date?

  • Is the use of the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card recorded when it’s used on public transport?

No, the ÖBB does not additionally record use of the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card. It’s sufficient to present the purchased Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card to any ticket inspectors.

  • Can the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure card also be used for boat trips?

No, the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card cannot be used for boat trips. Tickets for boat trips are available from Vorarlberg Lines Bodenseeschifffahrt

  • What’s the difference between the Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card, the V-Card and BodenseeCard Plus?

The Bodensee-Vorarlberg Leisure Card is available for one, two and three days and is valid for partner destinations in the Bodensee-Vorarlberg region. The V-CARD is valid from May to October and may be used for trips to destinations across Vorarlberg (www.v-card.at). The BodenseeCard Plus is the adventure card for the region of the four countries around Lake Constance (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein), including boat trips.
