Markus Faißt belongs to a small group of outstanding craftsmen who have turned their job into their vocation and personal mission. The step-by-step expansion of this old farmhouse began with a shingled seminar room to the left of the building, which acts as a think-tank for a variety of craft-related topics. The new wood store was then added to the right of this in 2012. Here, the raw material dries or “ripens” before being carefully selected – and the open wall construction ensures optimum ventilation.
