Biking and hiking in paradise
The Berghaus Mattajoch is situated on the Alpe Gamp, 1564 metres above sea level. The small restaurant has been run by our family since 1966 and offers accommodation, available for approx. 40 people.
We serve traditional dishes, homemade cake and strudel as well as choice wines from the cellar.
You can observe wildlife first hand in a natural setting on easy, moderate and more demanding hikes in our area. It's an unforgettable experience for the entire family.
From the middle of June until the middle of September the alp is home to cattle, sheep, and horses. The fresh milk is used to produce various local specialities. Visit us on Alp Gamp and enjoy the impressive mountain scenery.
The Berghaus is open on weekends from mid-May. From the beginning of June thru mid-October we are continuously serving our guests.
Please note that we are closed on Monday and Tuesdays during that time!
